Did you know that a starfish has no brain?

Starfish (Asteroidea) do not have brains as we know them. Instead, they have a radial nervous system, which means their nerves are distributed in a star-shaped pattern across their body. This nervous system allows them to receive information from their environment and coordinate their movements, even without a central brain structure.

Starfish also have a unique water circulation system that aids in their respiration and movement. This system consists of a network of canals and tubes that allow water to flow through their bodies, helping with movement and holding onto their prey. They do not have a heart or lungs; instead, oxygen and nutrients are transported to their cells through the water circulation system.
